Heredity means what you take after your parents. For example, in this collage I made for my science class. I look more like my mother and my sister looks more like her father. I inherit my mom's eyes and nose and I inherit my father's hair and lips. From this lesson I've learned that heredity is a special thing because it involves the taking after of what your parents look like and makes you similar to them. I like this lesson because it teaches me that heredity is something you can't change or prevent, it's just something that comes naturally and it is possible to be studied scientifically.
